We have a program specifically tailored to teenage girls that find themselves pregnant. What to do, where to go for help and advice, and general assistance through there pregnancy.
Teen moms is an outreach serving teen moms and dads and their children. We strive to support, advocate and enable young parents to finish their studies in high school. We collaborate with Help Me Grow and Head Start as well as many other wrap around services to help achieve success for our next generation.
The Northeast Ohio Mission Council of which we are a member of decided to donate to Wade Park VA Hospital for an outreach project. We are collecting – women’s nightgowns (l, XL, 1X), shower shoes; slipper socks; and sugar free & regular bags of hard candy. There is a box in the back of the church to put these items. Our own council members – Mary Bowins and Jim Santiago
have more information about this. Christ Church is one of 12 churches in our Diocesan Mission area. We will also make a few fleece “prayer knot” blankets for the vets. If you knit or crochet and would like to make a 4’ x 5’ throw, it would be greatly appreciated.
The Geneva Food Pantry is in need of canned food items. Please bring non-perishable items to church each Sunday. Did you know that Carol Cauffield puts a label on each item with a welcome invitation to Christ Church?
